If you don't remember the password, please use the following steps for changing the root password on your Linux VPS -

1. Log into client area by visiting - https://www.photonvps.com/billing/clientarea.php
2. Afterwards, go to Services section or click on https://www.photonvps.com/billing/clientarea.php?action=products
3. On service page, please click on "view details" button which is located on right hand side of the page.
4. Once the page loads, you should see "virtual server control" near the bottom of the page
5. Click on "root password" button and that will load a new window
6. Enter the new password and click on "change"

If you are still unable to change your root password, please submit a ticket and our techs will update the password on your Linux VPS.
